Mocha Latte

A delightful fusion of rich espresso, velvety steamed milk, and decadent chocolate. This indulgent coffee creation offers a perfect balance of bold coffee flavor and sweet chocolatey goodness, making it a beloved treat for coffee enthusiasts and chocolate lovers alike.

Mocha Latte

Ingredients:

1 shot of espresso (approximately 1 ounce)

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder or chocolate syrup

8 ounces of steamed milk

Whipped cream (optional)

Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Start by brewing a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or a Moka pot.

While the espresso is brewing, steam the milk using a milk steamer or by heating it on the stovetop until it’s hot but not boiling. Froth the milk to your desired level of foaminess.

In a coffee cup or mug, add the cocoa powder or chocolate syrup.

Pour the freshly brewed espresso shot over the cocoa powder or chocolate syrup.

Stir the espresso and cocoa mixture until well combined.

Slowly pour the steamed milk into the cup, holding back the foam with a spoon if desired, until the cup is almost full.

Top the Mocha Latte with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Garnish the whipped cream with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an extra touch of decadence.

Serve hot and enjoy your indulgent Mocha Latte!

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less chocolate syrup, and customize the level of frothiness in the milk according to your preference. This Mocha Latte is perfect for satisfying your coffee cravings with a delightful hint of chocolate flavor.
